    Struts

Is it possible for the shocks\struts on my 72T to have gotten too stiff with age? My car is Euro and has no front sway bar, it does NOT have the hydropneumatic struts from what I have researched, does have torsion bars, It takes a great deal of all my weight to depress the front suspension just a bit. The car handles great. The ride on rough pavement is somewhat jarring but is less noticeable as speed increases. I thought it was normal, having nothing to compare it to,untill a friend recently bought a 77s and his front end I can push down easily.
My struts are boge(black) I was blaming the roughness on the front tires but am now suspecting the shocks. Has anyone eperienced this? The car sat ignored and in disrepair for almost 20 years, I put 7000+ kilometers on this summer!!! Can't drive it enough!!
    Thanks

I had a 69 S that had same issue, rear shocks were also gone.
