    72 S Targa

Per my post a few months back, I am the final stages of reducing my Porsche collection to a total of three cars (this process has gotten increasingly painful as I get closer). I now have four cars and have one more to sell. I have decided to sell my '72 911S Targa.

It's one of the nicest Targas that I have ever seen or driven. It's rust-free, collision-free, apparently low miles (69K), with a Jeff Gamroth engine and suspension rebuild about 10K miles ago.

Price is $42,000. You will find additional information at the following link:

Please contact Tim Morris at German Master Tech in Bend, Oregon for more information. His phone number is 541.322.9647.

    Regards,
    John Audette

Would love to see this in its original gold metallic color! Any Photoshop experts out there?

Can a car in non-original color get that price? I always thought my 'S' in "Resale Red" was hamstrung due to the color. Does the fact tis car has non-original wheels hurt it, too? My impression is that the closer to kardex correct, the better for resale.

Beautiful car. I think any time there is a color change you are selling to a different following. Doesn't make it bad, some people are looking for originallity. Just curious if alot of people like early cars in the gold color? Not as compared to the red. I have seen pics of them but never in person, sad to say.
Still a pretty car! Good luck with the sale.

    '72 911S Targa Still Available

I have a standing offer a bit below my asking price. I'll probably accept it in the next few days if nothing else happens. Thanks for all of the interest.
