    Lend me your tools please......

I am rebuilding my 69S. Rather than having to buy all the rebuilding tools and only using them once, I wanted to ask if anybody would be willing to take a great leap of faith and lend me the necessary tools. I could give you something to hold as security if you are willing.

Wouldn't it be great to have a tool co-op? These things are expensive, and we, hopefully, seldom need them. I might be able to help, but will need most of them soon, and I don't have everything.

Hmmm, maybe that's something the registry itself could do, if the funding were there...a "lend library" of tools...rental fees used to pay off the tools, replace damaged or lost ones, etc. All it would take is seed money and, more importantly, somebody willing to run the show....
