This link: http://www.pbase.com/911r/root has some pretty good interior photos of a few "R"s.
They were just painted the tub semi black, There were no interior panels or carpets.

Platas - post some pics even if they're only progress pics! Always interested in the R projects.
Does anyone have pics of the R with the passenger bare fiberglass seat? I know I have seen it but can't recall where. TIA.

Bob - this may be the picture you're thinking of:
It was posted by Randy Wells on Pelican a few years ago in a thread about period seats for early 911's - it's Peter Kitchak's 911R.

Bob i shure will, as soon as i start the whole thing, i hope to do it in one year, thats the limit.
Hey, good luck with getting it done in a year.
My R project is crawling along as we needed to do so much body work to rid it of tin worm.
I am hopeful I will see it all togther by the end of 1st QTR 2006.
here is a recent pic of the exterior and interior. Inside now has the roll bar pads welded in ready for the period correct roll cage.

The danged tin worm's a bugger ain't it? Probably triples the amount of time it takes to do one of these projects.
