Ever used Gary Fairbanks of Norwalk, CT?

Anybody ever use Gary Fairbanks to rebuild their transmission?

Gary is very good. All he does is rebuilt transmissions every day. Fair price, good work.

That's exactly what I've heard. A very good guy to deal with.

Great experience with him on my 915 box (from my 78 SC). Very quick turn around.

Gary F. tends to shy away from working on 72 to mid-73 915's because of the inside case seal and the difficulty of rebuilding them without subsequent leaks at this seal. I ended up getting my box rebuilt locally and have been unhappy with the results. Oh well, maybe Gary will reconsider his position one of these days.

While a bit of a distance from you, Gordon Ledbetter (I think with Rothsport in Tualatin, Oregon) may be able to help you out. I have not used them but I have heard good things from others.
