This is from December 5, 1998. I found it interesting that with all the recent talk about a name change to include all early cars, the following was on the website 7 years ago:

"Since most of the information we publish pertains to all early 911 Porsches, we welcome owners of any early 911, including the 911T, 911E, 911L, and the rare 911R, 911S/T and 911RS. In fact, you do not even need to own a Porsche to be part of our group."

It's sort of hit and miss with the Wayback Machine. Some pages come up, some come up sans graphics, some don't come up at all????? Most pages load slowly, so be patient. You might have to reload also.
