what do you think? looks pretty clean but has incorrect engine and, to me, goofy interior.

Yes, it's a re listing. I was looking at this car a few weeks back, but felt the interior was just too.......well, clean and not correct. The motor is a 2.2, so also not correct for the car. I like the black plate though. I don't recall where the auction finally ended, but i can tell you that the reserve was set higher than I think the car is worth. $15K maybe is what I feel the car is worth if all else is verifyable......I recommend a personal visit before buying from Ebay, or at least a PPI from someone you trust.

All this said, I must admit that there is something I really like about the car.....

    Good luck

Mind you, the auction description states "Matching numbers" right up at the top. Interesting.

For what it's worth, I dig the interior.

BTW, at the bottom, where there is the "receipt" for the restore, it states "rebuild matching number engine to 2.2."

That's the answer to the matching number question. But truly, you can't tell by looking if it's a 2.0 or a 2.2.

Is the former seller, R Krieger, the Krieger from SF?

    Just wondering.

    Why is the interior "goofy?"

It looks mighty fine in those pics. If the pricing stays reasonable it's a great deal for someone looking to get into a longhood. YMMV
