WTB 4 Xmas Gift 1:18 Scale Model - Early Coupe

Sorry if this is redundant; searched but didn't find much.

Does anyone know of a 1:18 scale model of an early 911 coupe that is available for purchase? Prefer stock street look rather than covered in decals. There are lots of manufacturers out there from Maisto to Kyosho, etc. but that special holiday gift I seek is eluding me.

Anybody know where to find one of these?

You're going to have a tough time finding what you want. I'm a 1:43 guy, but as far as I know only Eagle Collectibles (who used to be Eagle's Race and before that Jouef) made/makes an early 911 street car - a red 72 S Coupe. Quality is just OK, not up to AutoArt or Minichamps standards. There are a few 73 RSs out there too I think. AutoArt is supposed to be coming out with an S coupe next year. You should be able to get a definite answer here:

After looking around a bit, I found the Eagle website and they list a 1:18 911 2.4L 1972 in silver, black, and yellow. Here's the photo - note the RS flares, spoiler, lack of fuel door, lack of headrests, etc .... it's basically the 73 RS mold.

Minichamps is releasing a 1968 in blue, red and silver soon in 1/18 scale. When I get my greasy hands on them I'll be converting one into a replica of my Heidi's 2.5 SWB Ltwt Rat-Bastard. Of course a 911R version is mandatory too!

    Curt:

Can you provide a link to that eagle site? I thought I was there and before I knew it I was in some dating site for people wanting to date people in uniforms like firefighters, cops and stuff. (Triple eek!)

I guess a hot babe in a nurses uniform might not be too bad....

Anyway, www.eaglecollectibles.com I think it was and it just seemed like a lame search engine. Do you have the link where you found that silver one posted above?
