I have an early 1966 car I might be interested in selling. Right now, it has my 1970 911S engine in it, so I'd need to swap the engine for the original aluminum case 901/01. I bought it to build something special for me, but it is too nice a car to alter it (like my '70S - which I'll be selling soon too).

A friend is getting a 68 911L ready to be sold. Older body resto. Decent car with 67 S trim. Deep 6s. Standard 2L engine (no S!). $ unknow. If you are serious get in touch with me.

I have a 67 911 that I may sell for the right offer. Fresh engine and gearbox rebuild. Straight body with floor rust. Original interior in good condition. Deserves a full body resto. Doors and outer body is very nice. Floor has some issues, but this is replaceable. I was going to give this to my nephew as he is getting involved with cars (mostly MINIs) but he may not be ready for this car.

Why would you want a SWB? They are squirrely in the turns, have little torque coming out of the turns, and are not as fast in the straightaways as the LWB models? I have heard that the 69T at 110 hp has more torque than the 67S...
For that type of performance, why not just buy a 912 and save your money?

Why wouldn't anyone want a SWB? If they don't, they probably haven't driven one. They just pull sooo hard at the top, next best thing to a 917 for us poor folk. I had a quote from someone saying if you can learn to drive one fast, you can drive anything. Disclaimer: Does not pertain to Semi's, women, or golf.

I race formula cars, and the SWB 911's are the closest streetcar to that feeling. They are nimble, and enjoying a car is not all about power.
