    Question HELP! Need 73.5 Gas Tank

    Does anyone have a stock fuel tank for a 73.5 911T with CIS injection?
    I need a new or used tank in good condition, ready to install...Please call or email me asap.

    Gas Tank

    Gary,

    Any 74-89 and later tank will work unless you want a small original tank. You can even get new reproduction tanks for around $300-$400. Hope this helps.

    Thumbs up gas tank

    Roger- I need the same type tank to fit a full-size spare- also, I was told that there is a difference in the 74 & up tank fittings, and that the 73.5 is a unique design?....

    Where do you find the P/N for the tanks, or do you identify them from pictures? I have one with the VDO guage fitting dated 6/72 that uses the mini spare and one with the VDO dated 7/72 that is for the full size spare. I think the fittings are the original.
