2006 LeMans

I'm going to 2006 Lemans anyone know of any parties or events I can invite myself to? We'll camp with the Porsche club of Great Britain.

You should check the Future Events section of www.ddk-online.com there's a whole bunch of early Porsche guys going. Assume also that you are aware that PCGB does a 'package' which includes parade laps etc etc. But you need to be a member to qualify...

3 more S Registry members will be there in June.
From So.Cal, Will Sanchez and myself, will be flying to Stuttgart, meet up with Thorsten Klein, drive to LeMans, then take a scenic way back.We leave June 9, return the 22nd. We thought of staying until the Classic in July. Still in the air.

Hotel, one mile from the track is already reserved, 16-18.

I guess hotel is full?
We've done this three other times we usually arrive and stay in Paris Wednesday and Thursday, drive to Lemans on Friday, drive back to Paris on Sunday night, fly home on Tuesday. If I stay any longer my wife will redecorate the entire house.
I'll keep you posted. We can usually worm our way into some good parties. In 95 we had a special invitation from Porsche Club Germany Region, fun people. In 98 we where guest of Monet Champagne, my head hurt after that trip. In 01 we where guests of Dick Barbour, he was out early... kind of a bummer with all the rain. So far in 06 we're slumming.
