    Dashboard question

I have acquired a 69S recently and the dash pad is missing the speaker cover. I have a couple of 73 speaker covers but they are too long. Can someone help me with info about the 69 and did Porsche change the size of the speaker grille after 69?

No expert on this but the 69 is a unique animal. Porsche changed in 70 stayed until 75. They come up on evilbay every so often.

The speaker grill was deleted in 76 but I wonder if the material and finish remained the same?

OK so they are different if I can't locate a smaller grille will a 70 -73 dash fit the car without any problems?

Clyde, you will have to oblong 2 holes for the dash pad studs to fit throw. I should have a spare 69' grill if you cant find one.

i have a 1970 and a 1971 and the speaker covers are marginally different sizes. i can measure exact sizes if you'd like. i;m pretty sure the dashes are original (they're both cracked!)

Hmmm. When I sent Evren's dash to www.justdashes.com I was told they wanted the speaker grille that came with that particular dash. I didn't know that the grille size changed from year to year. Live & learn.
