    FS: NOS vintage key pouch

    all;
    the perfect finishing touch to that 100-point restoration or for the owner wants everything that originally came with the car. this style was probably used from '65 to '71 or '72. i received one identical to this from the original owner of my '66 912. this one shows no signs of use and came from the Vasek Polak auction. the interior is lined with maroon leather. if you have something similar to this and would like some input on possible vintage, i'd be happy to help if i can. i am offering this one cash outright or trade for the earlier "tear drop" style (see second photo). i am also a buyer for one similar to this but has PORSCHE on the side vs. the crest. please PM for details.
    thanks!

    ...and my guess is that it is a single layer of leather that is "brushed" on the interior (not lined) and the color of the interior is either dark grey or tan.

    FWIW, I still have the original pouch & keys from my car. 1972 I just tucked the valet keys & one of the master keys inside, haven't used it since I thought the pouch was too big for a pocket. I use a fob instead. Anyway, it matches the one on the left. Thanks for letting me know it had a maroon leather (?) lining. In over 3 decades of having it, I'd never looked.

    Jerry,

    On your pouch on the left is the maroon leather lining inside only below the spring plate so that you have the maroon with the black above it? In other words the Black exterior leather is fully lined but, the maroon lining is then hidden when turned over the spring to the inside and sewn.

    Cheers,
    Michael
