If you are interested then talk with Jeff Smith. He looked at it when he was there to do a PPI on another car.

    70s @ Ec

I looked at this 70S a few weeks ago. Very nice car. The front bumper needed a small repair and respray.

Word is that this car has some unfortunate and significant frontal collision history....
I have not personally verified or inspected. Can anyone else confirm or refute?

    Also,

Check the right rear. Looked a little odd...behind r. rear area of Lic. plate valance. You might have to remove the valance. I saw it when they were prepping the car for sale, and the valance and bumper were not fitting too well. It might have been a small detail though.

Isn't this the same operation that put a new roof clip on a car and tried to pass it off as original? If so would not suprise me if they did not make mention of previous accident repair. That is why you must have a proper PPI regardless of where you purchase a car. IMO

Maybe it was on the "train" too.

    Tom,
Don't you mean on a transport truck that intersected with the "train"?!!!
Those were hard pictures to stomach a few years ago especially for anyone with a nice 356. Never did hear how things sorted themselves out with the insurance coverage. From what I recall, the driver took an unauthorized route and therefore the insurance carrier wouldn't cover the damage.
