    Odd Bilsteins 934?

I bought these this week thinking it was the "real deal" RSR front Bilstiens. Looking more closely I find that they have a 930 number.

Anyone care to guess what these are? I plan to use them on my 2.8 RSR replica, from my understanding they have the same layout as the RSR legs.

The 930 part # doesn't necessarily mean turbo. Those look to be standard RSR front struts......

    Good choice.....

I guess that has to do with ride hight and bigger wheels.

Anyone having access to the correct Porsche part number?

    Hi:

After checking my 934 manuals, those are indeed factory 934 struts.

Thanks! Will this be a problem for me? I intent to run with 9x15 fuchs in front and 2.8 RSR ride hight. I'm thinking of bumpstear.

As you've noticed, a certain amount of bump steer correction has been done with the curved steering arms, but a real Bump Steer kit is always recommended to tune that out.

Now,.......due to the height of these 934 spindles, you cannot use a 15" wheel. 16" wheels are the minimum otherwise the wheels collide with the A-arms.

If you must use the 15's, I'd suggest either the regular RSR struts with their 12mm raised spindle or our custom-valved RSR struts that have a 19mm raised spindle. Both versions are compatible with 15" Fuchs.

Hi, the seller went back to his parts bin and recovered the 2.8 RSR struts. He had only made a mistake. I do not now if they are in this nice shape but I sure hope so.

I guess that this mean that these are for sale, any 934 restorer that want to get in contact with my seller? He has some great parts for flat fans for 935's. I also think he has a spare 934/IMSA/Andial engine for sale. It is awesome....

Thanks for all help with info.

    Hi:

I have some customers that would be interested in some of the items he has.

If you would be kind enough to pass along my contact information to this gentleman, I'd be very grateful.
