    Old pics...

Not sure WHERE I picked this up at ...

It's a transparency of what looks to be the 934 Type I road test out of Road & Track...

The first one is from Road & Track Jan. 1977. They compared 3 Turbos, stock, 934( Group 4), and 935(Group 5). If anyone is interested in scans of the full article, let me know.

    Mr9146,
I'll work on it over the weekend. As you can tell by my scan of the cover, I'll have to figure out how to make the scans larger without making the file larger.

Sorry, but I was 15 and squarely stuck in Ohio during the summer of 86.
If you have a garage sale, keep me in mind.

    Smile $1.00 picture...

Was digging through an 'anything for $1.00' box of pics at the Auto Book Store yesterday and came across this one....

Long Beach - March 28th 1976 - First Long Beach F1 Grand Prix

Jochen Mass in the McLaren-Cosworth M23 in front of Carlos Pace in the Brabham-Alfa BT45

Regazzoni and Lauda would finish 1 and 2 in their Ferrari 312T's that day...

    Mass would finish 5th to Pace's 8th...
Mass would go on to prototypes/sports cars...
Pace would die in a plan crash one year later almost to the day....

Regazzoni's F1 career would end in an accident that would leave him paralyzed 4 years later at the same track ...
Lauda would have a devastating accident 6 months later at the German GP that he would recover from and go on to win the championship the next year...

    ... all this for'a buck...

BTW- I was in those stands somewhere that day...
