    Idiots at Barrett-Jackson

Just turned on the B-J auction. A fake 'recreation' 69 Yenko Camaro just sold for $80,000 (with fees and commissions). Are these bidders insane? It's a FAKE and was advertised as such!

It's the ultimate reality show. Car afficiandos from all the world sit, watch and SCREAM at their television sets. I had to turn it off after a Pontiac Sunfire "Concept Car" modified by Van Halen's bassist sold for $80,000.

But that did include an autographed bass.

Craig Jackson could be the shrewdest self-promoter since PT Barnum.

When the '69 Z-28 popped $205,000 I knew the end was near. Makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Are the bidders on drugs are do they sell drugs? That could settle at least one question I have.

The cars are the drug. Craig Jackson is the pusher. And the bidders are the helpless crackwhores laying in the alley.

That's exactly it. And the place reeks of a "Git-R-Done" attitude.
I love the muscle cars just as much as the next guy, but these prices are crazy. I'm with cosley on the GT40, back to reality.
