    Smile Miles and Smiles...

Lisa and I have been exchanging some great pics of late and have come up with an idea...a similar thread is being posted on the Australian TYPE901 Register message board www.typ901.org

It’s usually about the cars on this board … but how about the people?

Let’s see you owners, wives, husbands, girlfriends, kids, and buddies…

With your, or their cars… Nothing too silly or risqué … just some nice pics of you’all …

Let’s put some faces to names, and names to cars …

... and if this fly's we'll shift it other to the General Info...

    OK... How bout this one...

My Great Niece Kelsey when she was just a little girl... she'll be 4 in March ...

Not much of the car but who cares...

Smile One of my babies too...

I love the idea of this thread...all those great photos we manage to bury in other threads or never manage to post at all. I want to see your kids, your nephews, nieces, wives, girlfriends (even ex-girlfriends!), fellas too, you, your mum, dad, whoever with your car or theirs and hear the story behind the pic. We're still half a world apart and I'd like to get to know you all better through your "people pics"...so how about it?

Here's my 'gal in the middle'...Charlotte, who just loves riding shotgun for her Mum...she's a brave gal! This was on a TYP901 Register run early last year...extra special as one the guys on that run who was very special to me is now no longer with us...he passed away a few days ago and I can look back of pics of this day and smile at the happy memories...

Never forget guys and gals...it's all about the people...and the cars.

    Cheers,

    I'm on a roll now...

Here's one full of great memories...my Dad (John) and me at Collingrove Hillclimb in South Australia in 1990!!! We were competing in the Grand Prix Rally from Melbourne to Adelaide. Mike and I were engaged, life was grand all round (Dad by this stage was beating me but so what!)...we were the only father and daughter entered in the rally and the media guys loved it...

This was the last time we did a rally together ...once Mike and I started a family it was just too hard for me to get away and do these things with Dad anymore. We still went for a regular "blat" in our cars even when the babies arrived one after the other. The Abarth got a baby seat and luggage rack fitted as somewhere to put the pram! Wait til I find a pic of that...nothing stopped us from having fun together, nothing at all!

    Sebring

This is a picture of my daughter at Sebring 12 hour race 2005. We drove up in the red Carrera. She had a great time and even enjoyed the Parade laps. We left at nightfall to avoid all the party animals.
We will be there again this year for the RS Spyder overall victory!
