    Have I got this Fuchs 6 inch thing right?

    Ive been reading up on Fuchs 15 inch rims to see what Ive got on board. Seems they are 6JX15 deep, finished by Harvey Weidman no less. I'm relieved that's another pursuit I can cross off my insane list.

    But, Ive got some illustrations to follow of the deep and flat 6X15, depths of spoke, hearts/no hearts and a rim I took in that is deep but has no heart (don't cry its just a wheel).

    Let me know if Ive got it correct.

    I am in the market for another 6X15 deep to use as a spare, I assume it will fit in the front well.

    First up: The 3 different 6JX15 Fuchs.
    Left= Flat 6, no heart
    Middle on car= Deep 6, with heart
    Right= Deep 6, no heart (who is this guy?)

    Here's the Deep 6 with heart

    Shirt stuffed behind opening for contrast, note the little curve into the triangular space opposite the valve lending a heart-like appearance.

    Flat 6

    Compared to Deep 6 on car. Note, no heart. Shallow depth.

    Who is this heartless deep 6 guy?

    No heart, deep depth similar to Deep 6 above with heart.
    Only says 6J X 15 with Fuchs fox logo on back.

    That would be a later deep 6.
    I believe used 71 - 73 (?)
    Should be a "born on" date on the backside.

    Check the date stamps, each wheel will have one near the centre on the inside of the wheel. The earliest deep 6 without a heart is around 7/70 (ish).
