    73' #35vin. T Questions ?

A question for the Lunatic Fringe ! ..... How or why did the #35 vin . Carburated T get put into play in 73' ..... T,E,S 72' were MFI , early 73' was MFI and 73.5 ' T's were CIS while E and S stayed MFI . Anyone have a guess ? Was this a Euro. Thing ?

Only the US delivered 911Ts had injection for 1972 & 1973.

All rest of world 911Ts had carbs (zeniths I believe in 72 & 73).

Porsche could not use carbs for the US market as they would not satisfy emmissions requirements.

That always kind of puzzled me...I mean, some carb equipped cars could pass USA regs until 1990...the '90 Subaru Justy was the last car sold in the USA with a carb. But anyway, yeah..I agree. Euro T's still ran carbs in '72-'73...
