Anybody got photos of a '71 in Canary Yellow?

Go here: http://early911s.com/ and click on "911 Gallery" Sort by color and when you sweep your cursor over the picture it will tell you the color. You'll need to look around a bit....

"The 1970-to-1971 2.2-liter S with mechanical fuel injection is the absolute top choice. These 2.2 S engines are short-stroke, high-compression powerhouses without substantial emissions-control clutter, and they have a powerband with gobs of high-rpm torque. With their mechanical fuel injection still intact, they make a spine-tingling shriek as they shoot to redline."

It appears to be a 66-67 color --> zitronengelb R1012.

    Try here: http://www.elferhelfer.com/farben.htm

Oops. My bad. I was looking at my '71 color chart and Signal Yellow is listed, but only for 914 and 914/6. I was going to go look at a '71 911T for sale locally that is a light yellow color. Might pass on it now. Doesn't look like there were any yellow colors available in 1971.

    Curt,

Looking at the elferhelfer site, it looks like light yellow (hellgelb) and signal yellow (signalgelb) were available as "special order" colors..
