    WTB vintage tire for spare

    WTB Reasonably priced vintage tire for spare. Not to be driven...

    You may want to check out Coker Tire. I'm not sure what your definition of "reasonable price" is, but they have a great selection of repros. They carry the exact same Michelin tire as the original 40-year old spare in my 1966 912.
    1985 911 Carrera 75,000 miles - Black w/ tan leather.
    Stainless Steel Cat Bypass, Steve Wong Chip, and a few other minor upgrades.

    I assume you're referring to a concours-spec spare tire and wheel. If not, I have a 15" chrome wheel and a Michelin XWX sitting in the garage. This is circa early 80's vintage.
