FS: early cast iron distributor

came across this the other day. a little grubby but should clean up. shaft is not sloppy. note oiling spigot. no experience with it. trying to find out the actual application. any help appreciated.

i have a response that this is '65 - '67 911 (not S)

Can some one confirm this? This seems to conflict my specs dated Dec. 67 in which 911 distributors are identified by Bosch number 0 231 159 XXX.

Just wondering.

My Bosch Catalog states that Bosch 0 231 121 006 is for a 911 until Dec. 65.

In Jan 66 they switched to 0 231 159 001 which is also used as a replacement for the previous number listed above.

Good till July 67 then you have the next change.

Note the 0 231 159 001 is not the listed distributer for the 67S.
