    Why Isn't This '68L Selling?

I really like this so-called 'Vasek' car. I was surprised to see it pop up on eBay? It's been for sale for a while at around $25K. Is the Sporto holding it down?

Isn't this the car Mr. Polak bought for his wife --who did not end up liking the car? Looks fairly nice-wonder if it the sporto.

    Curt,
I have seen this car. It's REAL nice. Must be people are sticking their noses up at the sporto.

There is just no market for Sportomatics. There have been some other nice Sportos over the years that were a very tough sell.

    sporto

the only thing wrong with a sporto is that it's a 4 speed;I've driven a '73 S SPORTO,AND CAN ATTEST TO THE FACT THAT IT'S TERRIFIC;SPORTO'S GET KNOCKED BY PEOPLE WHO NEVER DROVE THEM

Good point Frank. I've been scared off because of the scarcity of replacement parts. Are the sportos heavy?

Perhaps the question then is, will there EVER be a market for Sportos?

I did pretty darn good on my Sporto!

I tried to chase the buyer off with a big number but he kept coming back. I drove the piss out of it for 2 yrs. and doubled what I paid.

I wish I still had it...

Earl's old sporto could outdrag a certain now "untouchable" silver car...I saw it happen.
