    L.A. area Sekurit glass dealer/dsitributor???

    Hi Guys
This should not be so hard, but after leaving messages with St Gobain/ Sekurit usa for a couple of days (no answer), Safelite glass distributors (no returned calls after i insisted it be sekurit) i am getting a little frustrated! Any leads where we can buy these windshields?
    Thanks in advance

5/12/06 : WELL, this deal just goes from poor to bad. The distibutor that had set aside a case of the shaded ones for us had one of the workers drop it- sigh.... I did NOT process any payments from those of you that called in your orders, so no problems there. Awaiting new info on tinted and clear shipment if and when
I am going to chase down some other leads too.

    Windshields

    Dave,
I have been on the search for Sigla or Sekurit for months and have had no luck either. Please let me know if you find anything out. Put me down for at least 4 windshields if you do find any.
    All the best!

i have two other Porsche body shops needing some too, so it looks like we can get a few crates of the glass to make it worth while

Tinted Sekurit in my car. You're telling me it's NLA? I guess I'd better be very careful to avoid any "following too close" citations...

Sent off a query to sekurit in france. will post with my results.
local glass companies tell me the current choices are PPG or the chinese mfg. Possibly Safelite has their own brand- will check on that and the dealer tomorrow
Pilkington is out of business? One of the chinese glasses was shaped wrong and i really know nothing about the quality either. If memory serves me correctly, PPG was thicker than oem, but shorter on the corners so one had to add spacers between the glass and the rubber to make them fit right?

    Unhappy Help.

Not sure if this thread was created by my note under the parts message board but if not my windshield scattered on the RS so I am looking for one too!

I will take a couple if you come up with a supplier. I am also looking to see if I can have some made up including the logo off my car. The more that are required the more chance of getting some made!!!?

I'd be in for one too. My original front has a 4 in crack down from the top right in the middle. Really pisses me off as I still have the original Marken sticker on it.
