1973 RS clone 3.6L Whaddya think?

What do you guys know or think about this aubergine monster?
Reasonable ride? Or so custom that it would cost a refinance when it fails?

Dunno, but the film clip is a nifty eBay feature.

It's been for sale over on PP for 3 weeks now at $35K with no takers. It looks nice in the pics, no telling what the real story is without a good inspection. My only nit-picks with the specs would be that SSIs are too small for a 3.6, the wheel/tire combo is too small for that much power, and the shocks are probably not matched well to the oversize T-bars.

It was on E Bay a while back for $30,000 and did not sell so now he wants $35,000. I can't figure it out,a lot of people seem to do that.

That's because if it doesn't sell for $35K, it's worth more than if it didn't selll for $30K ..... or something like that.

Certainly couldn't duplicate it for that price, I'd think any good
911 shop could service it... not that we have any around here

If interested, I'd ask a Pelicanhead down there to check it out and see if worthwhile. When it doesn't sell again, make an offer and get a real PPI.

If you drove it off a cliff, could you be arrested for making an obscene clone fall?

Has anyone actually seen this car in person? Any of you FL. guys know the car or the seller? Looks nice, but pictures can't tell the whole story.
