Interesting. Looking at the pics, I do see signs of a rough previous life...body repair signs in the trunk area, etc. IF it has the history claimed, which is still an IF in my mind, could very well be a valuable car.

It's either the deal of the millenium or something's not quite square with the story ..... why the T tach, the US headlights, the clock, full interior trim, etc. ???? Maybe it's got the so-called 'rally package', but a genuine ST??????
I agree with you. When it sounds too good to be true, it usually is...

Why can't this be a T/R? They were still making them in 1970.
I think it can be. And there were narrow-body ST's as well. But would either of these come with a fully trimmed interior with 6700RPM tach, clock, etc. And than there's the Weber carbs he claims came from the factory. OK, but in 1970, wouldn't all factory race cars be using MFI?
I'd love to see a photo of the VIN and the corresponding Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche...

Does anyone know the VIN on this car, like having seen this car in person or read it somewhere else? If so please share. Richard
Well, it certainly has a "rally car" ride height! Curt raises some good questions...a lot more evidence needed here.

As soon as he posts the Kardex we should get a few basic questions answered right away.
