    '67 911S Targa at Sloan Cars- $50k

I found this Polo red '67 S Targa on the Sloan Cars website and thought someone might be interested.

Boy ! Sloan appears to have all the toys... early 4 cams, GT3, 73 RS, etc... Good place to drop in when I've won the lottery...

From what I've been able to gather he doesn't actually have some of the cars he lists.

He advertised a 911E recently, which he didn't own, and which the owner (seller) had not asked, or even given permission for him to consign. Of course Sloan's price was way higher than what the seller was asking for it.

I don't think that was an isolated case... I believe thats how he does business.

That car has been on his site for months. It was listed at 65,000 originally.Having had some experiece with Mr. Sloan in the past, put solid money on the fact that the owner has decided to move the car at a more realistic price. If you note the background in his photos, you can pick out the cars he has in hand and the ones on consignment. Some of the cars that have appeared on his site were listed without contracts and without his inspection. This is not to say he doesn`t have good cars.My preference would be a one on one with the owner and my person doing the PPI.Enough said? PM me if you want more info.

I called about this car many months ago. He said it had been sold. Apparently the buyer bought the car back........
