I am suprised it has met the reserve at 18K. Alot of car for the money, if the auction ends close to that figure. From the story, the seller probably bought it at a very low price 20 years ago.
With 5 days left on the auction, I think there will be more bidding. A lot more. It looks like an honest car with a lot of "extras." If it went north of $30K I wouldn't be surprised, the way the market has been lately.Originally Posted by Rick Cabell

Read my surf novel!
Considering the car has 13 questions from unique profiles, I'd say the price will jump dramatically in the last 20 seconds.

Photography of a Car 101: A wet driveway with low light conditions (sunrise or sunset) and nice angles. Photographing a car at high noon isn't good nor is shooting it under harsh indoor lighting like Flourescent.
I hope someone we all know gets it.

PS: I'm sure Rick2 could chime in here for more tips.
Unless your selling the house or the driveway with the car... fill up the frame. Tom's suggestions go along way to spark interest.
Disclaimer: If you are selling a car or article on Ebay and it is not up to par or misrepresenting, most people take the photos from across the street and out of focus helps too.

The car doesn't look nearly as great as the 2 pics on the ebay ad, so I am not really suprised it sold for $22k. Also, the engine has a green shroud, might be an E engine??

Anybody truly interested in this car should go see it personally. I saw the car about 5 years ago, and as the owner has stated, it's not a concours car, but a "driver". Take a close look at the pics the owner has posted in the link he has provided....
Also note that the serial # of the car has been cut out of the body by the smugglers box. The car has been given a DMV data plate by California with the original serial #, and that number does line up with the engine number that is given. Still, I don't like cut out serial #'s....
