    VIN # help

I just picked up a 69 S, has VIN in trunk that reads 119301269, and stamped chassis number matches, along with title, but tag on window post is 119301268. Which is # I used to order COA which was clearly for another car. has amyone ever seen where the factory installed wrong tags like that, amust of had a of biers of too many for lunch that day.
    Thanks,
    Phil
