    Laying Rubber

Just got in my order of goodies from Stoddard's (ft signal lenses, gaskets and front hood rubber seal set). What I forgot was to get some Wurth's rubber glue. Anyone use 3M product for this???and if so, what's the name of it????? Your help is appreciated. I'm in the process of cleaning out the track for the front hood seal rubber and will be coating it with POR15 prior to gluing in the rubber. I think it's 3M Weatherstrip Adhesive but not sure.

    Paul,

I have used the 3M Weatherstrip product with good results on 914s and 911s. Follow the directions...ie: let tack up, etc...
Has worked well for me....haven't used any of the other brands. Nice thing is 3M is available at most parts stores.
