Looks like a nice car I would contact the seller and get pics of the underside if serious.

    73 E on Ebay

I've seen and drove the car in Kansas City. Not a bad car, but I feel the pics are a bit deceiving. It's got a recent re-spray that makes it a real nice 10 or 20-footer. On the plus side, it's a clean chassis... just a little surface rust on the underside of the front fender wells, as I recall (very minimal) and a tad under the brake fluid reservoir due to some seepage from sitting. Runs well. Brand new tires. On the minus side, the car has been sitting for about 9 years and was just recently made to run again. That said, it did seem to run quite well (from my novice perspective). Very nice, immediate throttle response and no smoke that I noticed. Originally a radio-delete car, it now has a later stereo cut into the dash and speakers cut into the rear shelf. The tranny and clutch need attention. It shifts poorly, in my opinion, and the clutch is real stiff. Unoriginal rear wheels. Drivers door does not close flush with the body. Jackie Stewart steering wheel (is that worth anything??), although the original wheel is supposedly available. Many shot rubber seals. Jiffy Lube stickers don't inspire confidence, either. It is a pretty unmolested car and one owner for the last 29 years, I believe. I've surely seen worse.

Over all, it's got a shiny paint job that photographs really well, but the rest of the car is pretty tired, inside and out. Can't really fault the car too much, but I decided I'd like to find a little nicer example than this one to own (since I can only have one and I want a keeper). Anyone know of a nice 2.2 or 2.4 E or S coupe for sale???
