Here is what I have on the '65.

Kamax 8G for the sheet metal.
Kamax 8G for the engine and trans mounts.
Karro 8.8 for the eight trailing arm bolts.

    All in "silver"

I do believe this should be a serious candidate for the annual "Too Much Time on Your Hands" award.

Wink It’s normal for this milieu.

I was trying to decide what size ultrasonic cleaner (2 liter or 5 liter) to use for cleaning the hardware of my ‘67s engine prior to sorting.

Then I started to have conflicted feelings...I feel better now.

Thanks for sharing, keep coming back.

    Cheers,

    Brake caliper fastner question

    Hi all.

I failed to clearly note the fastners that attach the calipers - I have 4 KAMAX and 4 DERA. I believe a set of 4 came off the rear and the other set came off the front. They are nearly the same, but the KAMAX are threaded all the way to the head and the DERA have a 4 or 5 mm shoulder. I think the DERA came off the rear, but I didn't document it. Any input?
I included a pic of the calipers during assembly in case you're intersted. I'll post something more complete in the appropriate thread.
    Thanks, Bill
