Brand/color, rattle can paint for trunk

    Guys,

What is the approved brand of rattle can black to touch up the trunk interior in 1969? Is it semi gloss or flat? I need to touch up a bit of rust under the wiring harness and would rather not have to respray the entire front luggage compartment.

    Thanks

I'm pretty sure it is by Wurth, but can't remember the color.

Are Wurth Products available by internet or is there an approved vendor to contact?

    Thanks

Duplicolor semi-gloss black. Cheaper than Wurth, available at your FLAPS, correct gloss for darn near everything that's black.

Stoddard has a nice selection of Wurth products. www.stoddard.com

I have a couple of cans of "Masury Satin Black," which the Patereks recommended some years ago. Problem is, it doesn't seem to be available anymore. It looks just like the factory stuff. I think it's an old fashioned kind of paint, maybe of the same vintage as the early 911s.

Thanks for all the help guys. I bought a can of duplicolor semi gloss and a can of Duplicolor low gloss engine block paint. Will experiment and let you know. Film at 11.
