Is this all the correct hardware to install a Frankfurt in my 70 911. I made the mounting plate on the right and acquired the rest of it. Does anyone have instructions on proper installation?
Thanks in advance,
Rob

Rob, Other than the Frankfurt knobs and bezel I don't recognise the other items. This is what my 70 needs.

I agree, that stuff won't work.. looks like Becker stuff (except the knobs, bezel and plate to put the vinyl material over).
Those spacer/clips you have will put the dial face too far back to be flush (forward in-car).
Michael is showing the proper Frankfurt clips that go on the side of the radio and attach to the sheetmetal, it all mounts from the front, pushing the radio through the hole until the clips lock it in. Then the vinyl plate goes on over it.

The black "U" clip mounts underneath the dash and then the back of Frankenfurter slides into the clip and is held by sweet tension.

Thanks for that pic. I never did find a rear clip... just made my own.

Thanks to all. I guess I'll just resume the hunt. Any suggestions for locating the right parts?

They are somewhat difficult to find. I got lucky. My car was without it's radio but, I when I bought my Frankie from a regular guy he included the front clips (SWEET!). My rear U clip was still in place.
You might want to try Parts Heaven, Easy etc.

When I installed my Frankfurt, I couln't find the front clips but my car still had the back clip, so I only used that one, it's been in place for a few years now, haven't missed the front clips at all.

Metra makes a universal DIN to twin shaft snap in kit, the part number is 99-9001, any car audio place should have one.
