    1973 1/2 911T 2.4 CIS 'S' Package

Regrettably, I must offer up my '73.

A southern California car up until a couple years ago, then fair weather only. It has zero rust. And a fair amount of original paint. It has several important 'S' options including brakes, suspension, gauges, spoiler and trim. Also, it originally came w/ fog lights but the ones included though original Porsche, are not correct to this car. The original leather comfort seats are pretty played out and included in addition to the current, later model Porsche-script denim-type seats that are currently working (and looking!) fine. The steering wheel is also leather and original. The radio is an older non-original, dial, twin-knob Blaupunkt that works great and pretty much looks the part. The dash has The Crack. H4 headlights - sorry, no originals. Also included are the (mostly) complete tool kit, owners manual and a bunch of receipts.

There has been a tremendous amount of mechanical restoration/maintainence work already done. The brakes, suspension, and tuning are all up to snuff. The windshield is a recent high quality replacement. The tires are new BFG G-Force Sport 205/60/15's. There are no running or driving issues. Dead nuts reliable.

The only thing left to do is a high quality repaint to make it perfect. Personally, I kind of dig the patina....

Please help find it a good home. Offered here exclusively. Located within an hour of NYC. $22K obo.

OMFG, what a color! I can't quite make out what is in the light, but that sounds like a great deal. Olive or gold metallic?

Tell me about it. I rationalize it with thoughts like: "this would make a grat present for the wife", etc.

Yeah and Marge Simpson loved her bowling ball...

It looks like Olive, same color as Ray Crawfords targa (covet, covet, covet).

    Can't understand your feelings Stacy....(must-get-Mike-Walker-to-sell-me-back-Dalmation-blue-car.....)

Ok, let's see all I need is a few "hoists" and I double my garage space, ....right?

    I don't need a 12 step program till I have 12 cars....

By the way, though the fog lights are sort of incorrect, they would be correct if chrome, and I think they look nice on the car.

    Thumbs up

Beautiful car! I have that car's identical twin except mine has one repaint in a close tan and has a sunroof. It was and will some day be 414 Olive again. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks for all the nice words, guys.

Yeah, Sambesi green is a bit funky. Cool, though. Gets lots of positive comments too!

I was a little up-in-the-air about whether I wanted to put black or chrome fogs on, but when I realized I had the black ones in stock....it was kind of a no brainer

I forgot to mention that I'm also including a set of un-cut horn grills and a set of new turbo valve covers.

Any spreading of the word would be appreciated as I really don't want to list it on fleabay.

    Thanks!

If it was a 70 or 71 S in that color I would go down like "free beer!" Great color, great looking car.
