    Well Steven, we have
accuweather which says Variable cloudiness; breezy with a shower or thunderstorm,High Temperature:62° F

and is the most optimistic, while

    NOAA
says: Showers likely before 10am, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 10am and 2pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Patchy fog before 9am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 63. Southwest wind between 6 and 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

and there is even a Fire Danger warning for tomorrow there due to excessive dry conditions and no rain for the last 2 weeks !!! and today being fabulous!!

Just our luck. and remember that I have a targa I need sunshine

Why don't we wait until tomorrow to get a better idea, but at the moment it looks "iffy"?

    Thanks,

    Karl

    Postpone?

I believe we are rained out .... even accuweather concedes rain, and it was always the most optimistic of forecasters ...

If everyone concurs, can we start proposing another date.
Personally i am unavailable, Sunday, and i know that some others are as well.

Following weekend ... 2 weeks is Easter weekend ... 3 weeks time?

Talking It happened, despite the rain

Well, after much delay, i have resized the pics ... from our getogether .... and here goes ...

It was a mixture of sun and rain, and me with my targa was feeling rather foolhardy. Seeing that Paul was still up to go, I figured why not, and so i drove to Port Jervis parking exit to meet him at 11h30.
Here are some pics of the scenery, the roads, the twisties, and the rain, the action shots in the rain, and the mutual admiration shots at the end.

It was just easier to post them on flickr so that is where they are at ...

Next time we'll get more people out as the weather will be better. My targa did not melt. The rain was so much fun to drive in ... it was quite a scintillating experience, and the noise of the water slashing and beating off the front spoiler coupled with the engine growling ... there is something to be said for rain ... or perhaps i am too adapted to it, from 20+ years of growing up in ireland ... a great country if it had a roof !!
