    Photo of '71 Engine Compartment

Anybody have a photo of the driver's side engine compartment - preferrably unrestored - from the fuse box to the firewall??? I'm looking for how some of the wires are run and/or tied together. Thanks.

    1971 Engine Compartment

Curt, here's my '71T engine compartment. I think it's mostly original, except of course the Permatune (that's going away soon).

Let me know if you need some other shots.

A question - the gray with white stripes wire I've got pointed out .... where does that go? Mine seems to have been folded up and not connected. I was doing some cleaning in that area. But now I'm not sure if I accidentally pulled it out of a connector or if it was simply an unused wire.

    Mystery gray wire

Curt,It comes out of a group that goes to the ground and is the only one that is not attached to it.It is the one with the blue tape{ mine} on the unattached end,but it does have a connector on that end. This is the original set-up as far as I know,so it is a mystery to me also. Anyone know? By the way,it`s Monday, you should be at the office! TFM

Same with my car - ends in a spade connector, but not attached to anything.
