    1967 911S sunroof Coupe

Well I can't find my original post and thought that you might like to see how the car cleaned up.
If you remember its a one owner Californian Black Plate S Sunroof coupe with Webasto heater, full toolkit and all books and papers from new.
The buyer collected the car from the factory and it states Porsche AG as supplying dealer with an LA address for the first owner, first year services were also done at the factory and the car was imported to SoCal in 68
Here it is, as found and lower pics polished up a bit, it's all original paint

    Now listed on EBay

Wow, cool! Looks pretty nice, considering the "before" pics. Did the final result of buffing out the paint turn out as nicely as it looks in the pics?

Yes it came out pretty well, although in places the paint has a mottled look and its rubbed through on the hood and on the roof, shame but it is all original-if that means anything!

You could take it to a body shop and have it touched up. I know the Survivor Gestapo won't like it, but I think if the paint is orignal except for tactical fixing of thin spots, you can still call the car "original paint" as long as your share the fact it has been touched up. Looks very nice!

I would usually agree with KeniK but in this instance I think I would just keep a lot of wax on it and avoid the touch ups.

Just a few hours of clean-up work, right? Nice car indeed...count me among the "leave it alone" school. But hey, what do I know? It's your car, do whatever makes you happy.

    Why go Ebay?

Before you go the ebay route. Why don't you let us know what you are looking for in price. Where is the car located?
