A funny ebay auction caught my eye. This is Mick Michelsen's wife...selling her cookie jar. Times must be tough in Virginia.

"At the risk of being redundant this is truly unique. We have been hanging out with those great old cars for more years than we want to count and have not seen one."
Those 356 guys must not have been looking very hard . Variations on those are now and have been available for years. Road & Track even sold a few versions for awhile as well, although I would guess the market for hundred buck cookie jars may be a bit thin.

But my favorite was always the way groovy Janis cookie jar that also doubles as a music box which plays Mercedes Benz when you wind it up...
Thanks for the info....now if it were the Janis version, I might be tempted to bid. Wasn't her car a coupe though? But, as I emailed Mick, I've got too much Porsche related krap around this house as it is...including the Porsche itself. (Don't read this as the car being for sale...it's not.)

Wow! Thanks again for the education. Just got an email in from Mick...he says if it had been the Janis cookie jar, he'd have kept it.
