    Exhaust Fumes???

Got caught in the rain tonight on the way home, Turned on the heat for the first time in over a year. The exhaust fumes in the cabin were almost unbearable.

Any help on what causes this and how it can be fixed?

    Joe:

Either your heat exchanger hoses are cracked or your heat exchangers themselves have holes in them and require repair or replacement.

In either case, this situation is quite dangerous (CO poisoning) and requires immediate resolution if you use the heater.
