HELP ! I need an Embellisher

    Hi people at S Reg.

I have a 1973 911 2.4S (in Viper green). I want the beauty to be as close to original as possible. I have gotten the correct factory production sheat from de original dealer that sold the car new in Germany. I am missing two thing to get it perfect:

The car was delivered with the option code 427-rear embellisher (under bumper) part number 90150590400. Do any of you have this for sale, or do you now anybody else that could have this part(three pieces).

The other problem is that the sport seats (delivered as an option on my car) originally had leather sides with "pepita" cloth in the middle (some call this cloth "houndtouth", and I have read a third name in German but cant remember the name) The seats (the originals) have later been recovered in black leather recently. I want this back to original ! Where can I get this cloth, the factory in Germany is empty out of this cloth.

    Can anybody help me?

Give Don a call to see if his material is still available. Probably gone by now though.

I heard of an "embellisher" set for sale locally a couple years back. It was $600, but it was new old stock.

If that's a tolerable price, I'll try to run it down.

    Yes thank you!

    Hello Eminence gris

If you can run that down I would be very grateful!! If it is an original I think the price is ok. (my wife would think it is crazy to pay 600$ for three small pieces of metal sheet, and beat me in the head with a frying pan if she new)

And to the other helpful people that has replied to me, I have found the original cloth at Sitzclinic. I checked with the Porsche Factory, Classic department in Germany, and they told me that they could recommend sitzclinic when it comes to original hounds tooth cloth. Thank you very much !!!

    Best regards
    John
