    FS: porcelain signs 550, 904, 911

    all;
these are Porsche OEM porcelain signs from the boutique program. they measure ~ 24" X 16" and are *heavy*. the factory does one design per year. they are limited to 1,000 numbered pieces world wide and include a letter of authenticity. typically they sell out in a couple of months, although i hear some of the ones depicting the Porsche tractor may still be available
the artwork is generally drawn from early sales brochures or racing posters. holes in all 4 corners facilitate hanging or mounting. nice addition to any room. all prices + actual shipping. i pack carefully and use the carrier of your chioce. 100% satisfaction as always.
    550 - $350
    904 - $300 $$SOLD$$
    911 - $250 (COA missing) (sale pending)
    thanks for listening.
    cheers

    thanks Bill!
they ARE cool. i'm keeping a couple, but only have so much wall space. i think the series was just started in '98 to commemorate the 50th anniversary. that image was of a '53 coupe and it sold out in a hurry. with only 1,000 pieces world wide each dealer may have received only 1 (...or 2?)
    thanks again

    Are you sure they're porcelain?

    Do you mean enameled?

frankly i'm not clear on the distinction. i see the terms used interchangeably. i didn't want people to think that they were simply painted, especially given the fact that most have never seen them before. perhaps you can enlighten me ?

Well hopefully I can enlight you then, they are enameled.

I think that is also written on the back. At least with the white 911 one I have it's written on the back.

They are great quality pieces! Good luck selling!

Yes- enamel is a coating fused on to the base material (I think is is melted colored glass). It is very durable.
    Porcelain is basically china.

Those things are cool- I think I have seen one before but didn't realize they are doing a series of them.
