    How to remove headlight assembly...

Forgive me if this is really bad question, but how do you remove the headlight assembly?
I only see one screw on the bottom and removed it. How much force is necessary to remove the unit? My fingers tips are about to fall off and I don't want to use a tool?
    Anyone have any suggestions??

    Thanks!!

    Vinny,

    There are NO bad questions...

After you remove the screw, if you are trying to pry and pull your headlight ring straight forward to get it off ...... then it's doing it's job by not letting you. Give yourself, your fingers, and your old car a break and left UP and BACK towards the windshield... there is a little lip on the back edge of the top of the ring that holds it against a little boss that comes up from the top of the headlight opening.... to put it back on you just reverse the procedure and catch the top of the lip first, then line the screw hole up and replace the screw...

    Hope this helps,

If "left up and back" doesn't work, you might try to lift up and back... (edit)..ditto on the nice headlight comment...now imagine those hiding behind a clear lens set up as being discussed on the general topics board....!

I'm sure you'll find interested people if you advertise in "parts for sale" here.
One final tip..when replacing that main screw? Note the angle it should be inserted, begin the screwing in with your fingers. It's too easy to strip the threads of the tab in the headlight bucket if you're not careful.
