    Halda/Heuer Factory Support Plate

While in Essen last week, I purchased from the English Porsche specialist Edmond Harris the following plate:

It screws in place of the glove box and supports a Halda twinmaster (on the left) and a pair of heuer stopwatches (on the right). Apparently, it comes from the Porsche Works department. Has anyone ever seen one of those and is it possible it was made by the "works" department?

Nice find ! most of the mounting plates I have seen are the Heuers mounted on top of the Haldas for a more symmetrical look I guess. I also like your rally map light.

Yeah, the seats were amazing. So many different styles and all original porshce, many factory racing items. As Milou says, nothing was cheap.

But check this one item for sale.

One only, last one on the planet, 917 long tail. NOS with factory part no sticker on it. price unknown, I didnt ask as I dont have a 917 that needs a new tail at present.

Sounds like you spent a bit of time talking with these guys at the show. Didn't he have some amazing stuff for sale ? But I thought his prices were just crazy. I dont think he sold much of the larger items due to his pricing.

He aso had an RS engine (rebuilt) for sale and an ST engine and RSR gearbox. Pics below.

The list just goes on and on.....
