Thread: WTB RSR wheels.

    WTB RSR wheels.

This is probably a long shot but I thought I would ask for some help locating a set of RSR wheels. They must be round, cosmetics of no concern. I am planning on mounting my street rubber on them for the drive to Sonoma. I will mount the Avon Slicks on the set I have, swap them out when I get there.

    Thanks in advance.

I have a pair of 9x15's I will be selling (actually a set with 8's). I would consider splitting them, but it sounds like unless you can also locate a pair of 11's they're not much use?

If I can find the 11's I would be interested. How much, condition?

Thanks for the offer, I will keep you posted.

    Joe,
I read your signature with the list of cars and am very excited for you to get your 2007 GT3 in TANGERINE. I asume that tangerine is a special color. If so, are you going with the early 911 paint code? Also, if you don't mind my asking, how much does the mothership charge for special order colors these days?
Looking forward to seeing pictures of the new member of the family...

    Gt3

When I put up my deposit money I was under the assumption that a Paint to Sample option would be available. My research has led me to believe that I should be able to Paint my car Tangerine. I will know more, hopefully next week, when the ordering guide is released. I am #1 on the list. If it is not on the ordering guide I am going to pursue the "Special Needs Program" A buddy of mine has been involved with the program. I am hoping it comes through.
I think the " Paint to Sample" option on my 997s was about $5,500.
If not I will probably go with white.

It is definitely a long shot, but there was a guy on PP saying he will have two sets of NOS RSR wheels in his hands on April 4th, but nothing posted since. Check this thread. There were several people falling all over themselves getting in line for them, with one offer of $7500 made for a set. With no pics and no followup postings, I don't know what happened. Vaporware?

Joe - I have a pair of 11x15" Fuchs available but I'm in the UK.

    I can send details/pictures if you're interested.
