Is this the bell shaped Momo hub I've been hunting?

I bought this last night on ebay and I'm too impatient to wait for it to arrive. Thought I would seek the expert advice here.
It was described as, "I believe this one is for Porsches or Alfas. The pic should give you a good look, The width of the wide part of the base is about 4 1/4 inches. The threaded opening for the shaft is 13/16ths".
    Please let me know. TX!

Hi Bob - I'd been watching that item which, because of the uncertainty as to its application, I didn't think many people would bid on.

Unfortunately, my sniper bid was too low but when I checked the winner's id I was pleased that you had won it.

I'm fairly sure it is for a Porsche but I believe it may be for a 914/6 - the early 911 ones are usually shorter.

However it should fit your car - it just might mean that it's a bit of a stretch to the turnsignal & wiper switches.

Thanks Andy - I hope the search is over, I have already bought 2 incorrect hubs. It's a small community on porsche ebay - another bidder and fellow early s reg member was watching it as well.
    PM box has been cleared.
