Buy it now for $10,000 ....and spend another $10,000 (maybe less) in a decent paint job

That is horrible! I never could relate to those "artsy" types. I always thought the Janis Joplin 356 was a waste of a good Porsche too.

I like it, although I would have preferred brighter colors.

It was at least a decent job - you can tell the trim and decos were removed prior to paint.

From a pure "car" standpoint, it's not an $8K 912. The rust front suspension pan needs to be replaced and I would definitely go through the motor - if the owner would do the paint like this then I'm sure the motor's been neglected. If A=B and B=C then A must = C.

On a different note, I bet this car is driving the 912 registry Q-tip crew up the wall. HA!

Im definitly not a by the books concourse kinda guy (infact im of the school that says do what makes you happy be it concourse or hot rodding), but im not a big fan of this one. to each his own. honestly stuff like this (done in poor taste) gives 912s a bad name, and is why we get this stigmata of being lesser porsches. looks like a really straight body, but definitly needs to be gone through top to bottom. Marco hit it on the head; if ones been neglected than the other most likely has too. and yes.. it did drive the q-tippers crazy
