    Bullitt in HD

    Marco,

Are you watching it on DishNetwork, HDNet channel? I recorded it in High Def., what a DIFFERENCE. I even have the DVD. There is NO comparison when broadcast in High Definition. Color, clarity, even the sound.....

Makes me wonder what LeMans would be like....

    Naahh, just a Cinemax replay.

I turned it on about 5 minutes before the chase scene ... CAR-B-QUE!!

I bet LeMans would be AWESOME!

When I worked at Potomac Video in Bethesda, MD I used to put LeMans on the TV in the store ... most of the husbands would stop browsing and stare at the vintage iron on the Mulsanne Straight while the wives did the shopping - I rented a lot more chick flicks out on those days

I bought Le Mans the other day. $9.99--can't remember where.

A good watch and just too cool.
    Cheers,

Weird coincidence...Cindy just ordered Bullit & Vanishing Point "in order to get free shipping" when she ordered a book on investing from Amazon. I had a great chase scene film festival not long ago.

At the time Bullitt came out our family did a Universal studious tour.
I remember the tour guide telling us that they used something like 14 Mustangs and 17 Dodges to film the chase scenes.
Being young Ford kids we just thought it meant the Mustang was a much better car.

How many Irish Green VW Beetles did they use? That same car appears over & over...

Hey there Tony ! When was that when you lived in Bethesda and rented videos ? Were they betamax?
I didn't know you where from Md..I know I've got you at a disadvantage..
This is Bert ..used to come by and bug you for cheap parts and advice in the
90's when I lived in the valley ..maybe this will help pristine white turbo look
    w/ 3.2 ?
I still visit LA often ,sisters in studio city, now I have a '96 twin turbo and a few others in collection ,I'll drop by next time in town , Bert
