    Master Cylinder Overflow Tube

Where is this tube supposed to discharge to? I just noticed, mine is sort of laying across the top of the washer fluid bottle??? Thanks.

    Curt,

I've never been sure where the hell it's supposed to go ... however I think there's a thread on this...

    This is what I did...

Extended the hose and and exited it through the left side spare tire well small floor plug hole.... I just removed the plug, replaced it with a grommet, and ran the hose through it, leaving about 3/4 inch of hose under the car... end of story...

Hope this helps... and I hope someone tells us what we're really suppose to do with it ...

Thanks Chuck. The only way I noticed it was I changed/flushed my brake fluid over the weekend and just noticed some fluid in the pan under my spare tire. It was brake fluid, which did a nice job on the undercoating .... I just don't see where this connects too. Your solution looks like a good one.

    Chuck,

I think this is the thread you are referring to: http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...ighlight=brake.

My solution was the same as yours except I used a tube with an OD that (kinda) matched the hole size and deleted the grommet. I did not feel comfortable in havng the ube close to the body so mine goes down a few inches.
